We heard and packed up our family and headed to Vegas{where he lived} to see what we could do. We figured that we would just figure out what we were going to do when we got there. We met a girl who's parents were from New Zealand, and that is where the husband spent his mission. Well one thing lead to another and she opened her home to us! All 5 of us! {my husband, myself, and the 3 boys, at the time ages 3,2,1.} She watched our kids a couple nights, and made sure we were as comfortable as possible.

From her example, I have been trying to keep my doors open to who ever needs a place to stay. She was truely an angle and I still can't thank her enough.

{And you... thank you for your blog it's amazing! }

Re: A little kindness goes a long way: Pay-It-Forward

Love the idea-

Re: A little kindness goes a long way: Pay-It-Forward

I am so slow on the uptake! Why didn't I make arrangements to meet you at "The Purple Cow"? Not that you could have just dropped everything and come...but that would have fit so nicely into the hiatus scrapbook. :)

Re: A little kindness goes a long way: Pay-It-Forward

Darn!
